My latest design – Rama Lama
The moment I made the sample in two colors I knew I had to try making it as colorful as possible.
I dove into my stash and this is what came out.
It’s cozy, colorful and perfect to cheer you up on any gloomy winter day.
The beaded stripes pattern gives you so many possibilities…
I’d love to offer a free copy of the pattern to anyone who’d love to play with colors this winter too.
Please leave a comment under this post (write down your Ravelry ID or email!) and on Wednesday I’ll draw three winners!
There is nothing cooler than a Hubby modeling your latest design for you, is there?
Okay, maybe the fact that design was created in collaboration with Malabrigo is also pretty cool.
Here it is. My first Malabrigo collaboration – Rama Lama.
Rama Lama is a seamless bottom-up cowl knitted all in one piece. It starts and finishes with Garter Stitch. The body is worked in Beaded Stripes pattern based on simple knit, purl and slip stitches. It can be made in two sizes: cozy neck warmer and long infinity loop. Each version of the design uses less than two skeins of Malabrigo Worsted, but if you have lots of small leftovers of this yummy base, this is THE design to stashbust them.
And here’s my Hubby is his own Rama Lama, which he requested the moment he took off mine after the photoshoot. I have to say that he was pretty annoying with questions “Are you done yet?”, but at the same time I was really happy he actually WANTED something so much :-) No wonder. Have you ever worked with Worsted? This yarn is gorgeous, soft and not itchy at all.
The design is at a discount. First 50 people receive 20% discount, next 50 buyers receive 15% and finally last 50 people receive 10% off. The coupon code is RAMALAMA.
I hope to show you a different version of the loop very soon.
In the meantime, happy knitting!
