This shawl too me a long time to make. I started it same time in early Fall last year. It was meant to be a simple, relaxing TV knitting project from the very beginning so I wasn’t rushing with it. There’s more! Initially it was just gray and white but after some time me and my Hubby decided (Marcin loves advising me a lot) it’s getting really dull so I just should rip it back, start again and add one more color. Turns out that was a very clever decision.
I’ve designed a couple of shawls in various shapes but I think the banana-like crescent is the most wearable. It’s long and not too deep which makes it perfect to wear it even as a scarf.
And now I’m deeply in love with shawls allowing you to choose at least 2 odd fingering weight skeins from your stash. So many wonderful color combinations out there!
My dear friends Lucinda and Julie also fell in love with the shawl and decided to put a few Masgot yarn kits in their stores. Lucinda is offering three bases: Artyarns Marino Cloud, Julie Asselin Fino and Nanos. You can check them out here. Julie herself is offering a kit with one more base Piccolo in truly fab colors – here.
Do check them out! There is a promo code for Masgot pattern for everyone who purchases the kit :-)
Happy knitting everyone!
